Welcome to Riverwood Classical School
Applications Now Being Accepted for 2010-2011
We are a Classical Christian school based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. For the 2009-2010 school year we are offering full-time kindergarten through fourth grade classes. We are also offering a part-time pre-kindergarten class, part-time Latin and German classes, and three after school classical ballet classes. For the 2010-2011 school year we will continue our current classes and add at least a fifth grade class. A sixth grade class may also be added if there are a sufficient number of interested students. Thereafter, the plans are to add at least an additional grade each year, with other grades as enrollment arises.
This school exists to assist parents and the covenant community in glorifying God by imparting the heart and mind of Christ to the heart and mind of every child, teaching each child to pursue God’s truth, beauty, and goodness through the employment of classical means and a comprehensive application of Scripture to every facet of scholarship, discipleship, and life experience.
